SPE Bergen Student Chapter organizes many events throughout the year where the aim is to engage the students with the industry, encourage networking and learning.
Established in 2006, the SPE Bergen Student Chapter has quickly become the main link between students and the oil and gas industry for the Bergen region. The chapter is one of most vibrant SPE student chapters in the world and hosts a variety of activities and events focused on knowledge enhancement and network building. The chapter has student members from a wide range of technical disciplines from both the University of Bergen and Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (former Bergen University College).
The SPE Bergen Student Chapter encourages all companies related to the petroleum industry to present technical information and employment opportunities at their regular member meetings. This is a great opportunity for companies to get in touch with potential candidates and promote themselves to the engineers and scientists of the future.
