With the central location on the Western coast of Norway, close to the big offshore fields on the NCS, Bergen has become a key hub for Oil & Gas industry. Many of the major Operators have active offices here, in addition to Coast Center Base for offshore logistics, and clusters of Oilfield Service Companies.

SPE Bergen Section provides an arena for employees of these industries to meet, share ideas, and keep updated on the latest technology. Our local events as Tech Night – Member meetings, SPE Bergen Lutefisk&Energy (half-day conference) and SPE Bergen Garden Party, are central arenas to meet colleagues and share technical knowledge.
