🔹 Kåre Langaas – SPE Distinguished Lecturer & Senior Advanced Reservoir Engineer at Aker BP presents "Designing Optimal Wells with Inflow Control Technology." With 30 years of experience in reservoir engineering, research, and field development, Kåre will share a systematic approach to improving well design, focusing on long horizontal wells, sand screens, and inflow control technology (ICT). His lecture will highlight how autonomous inflow control technologies (AICT) can optimize well performance, increase efficiency, and reduce environmental impact, including lower CO₂ emissions. With experience leading AICT testing for Aker BP and co-authoring 25+ technical papers, Kåre brings deep expertise in reservoir management, inflow modeling, and tracer-based well surveillance.
